I have a query from one of the solutions from pablovr.
Thanks for the link, but it takes me to REGCURE.
I downloaded this once before on a machine and it picks up the usual 700 odd "faults"
So I bought it, and it didn't solve the problem it claimed to, but created many more by deleting what it thought were orphaned entries I guess. Well a number of things no longer worked and I ended up doing a fresh re-install.
I then ran it again, directly after the reinstall of XP only, and it still found over 500 "errors".
So as a junior in the technical stakes, I have avoided it like the plague since then.
Do you experts rate this piece of software or is it a spoof???
I tend to stay away from reg cleaners. Only tried them a few times when all else had failed and still ended up having to do a wipe n reinstall. They can do more harm than good since they solely mess with the registry. Look at this old article http://www.experts-exchang
