Callandor is right..... triple head to go digital edition is the best way, I use it myself....
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have purchased a new iMac desktop computer and want to run two additional (non-apple) monitors so that I have a total of three screens. No one has been able to tell me exactly what I need to do this. I assume it is some sort of hub which connects to the iMac mini-DVI port via a cable and two additional cables to connect the hub to the two additional monitors. I need to know the exact type of hub I need to buy and the proper cables. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have used this with a mac mini, needed some finagling but then I got it to work.
I have extensively researched the **Triple** head2go Digital for personal use and found out that it outputs 57hertz instead of 60 hertz, which my 3x Acer X223Wbd are not compatible with. I am not completely sure about the dual head2go version, but personally, I would be sure that all components are compatible with each other, especially the refresh rate.
The specs listed here say the DVI model runs at 60Hz http://www.newegg.com/Prod

You will need three additional DVI cables, since the one going to the monitor will go to this device.
