I want to install Win XP Pro in MACBook Air. What are the additonal hardware and softwares needed for that. Heard that I need "need an external USB optical drive to install Windows" and also the Boot Camp software. Where can I get boot camp software, is it already there with MacOS.
WHat is the step by step procedure for installing XP Pro ?

To install XP using Boot Camp, run the Boot Camp Assistant from the Utilities folder (inside Applications folder or Cmd+Shift+U in Finder). There's a button to print out the instructions.

If you'd rather run XP from within OS X (without having to reboot) you can install it as a virtual machine using VMware Fusion (excellent), Parallels, or the free VirtualBox.
