Scheduled Agent in Mail file to download from Gmail via pop3?

Hello, I would like to write an agent that can download mail via pop3 from my gmail account into an existing mail file.  I am an admin but not a developer so no idea on what lotuscript etc I would need to create to do this.   Any help is or pointers in the direction of where to look is greatly appreciated.

Perhaps this is not even possible?
