Question
MacFusion Error
I have been trying to set up MacFusion so I can connect ftp and drag and drop files to my ftp server
I can connect and mount it in macfusion
but whenever I drag and drop a file I get an error that says You may need to enter the name and password for an administrator on this computer to change the item
I am not prompted for a username or password
so I hit OK
The item contains one or more items you do not have permission to read do you want to copy the items you are allowed to read
and then it looks like it makes a file but with 0kb file size
what am I doing wrong?

The problem you have is that Mac fuse is part of the finder when installed. The OS X finder when browsing FTP sites is read only. It will NEVER write to FTP. Here is my supporting article http://support.apple.com/k

that wiki makes it seem like I could be able to write to the ftp account using this tool?
is there a setting tweak I need to make on the ftp server to allow this to function?
