Connecting 2 wireless routers

My brother is trying to connect 2 wireless routers together one is a Apple airport and the other is a Linksys WRT54G. Now he is wanting to use the DSL internet connected to the Airport. The other router will be about 200 feet away. The Linksys says that it is also a AP and he has a net gear router laying around un used. So can he take the Linksys configure it as the AP and bridge the Airport and the net gear router and give him internet access like he wants? I have went through the manual on his router and i dont think it will work like he is wanting to and I thought maybe a item this TRENDnet TEW-430APB 802.11g Wireless Access Point which Is a AP or WDS. I hope I explained this well enough I was starting to get a headache over it and just wanted a second opinion
