I have an Apple Macbook Pro which I have Itunes on.
I also have an Apple Airport Extreme, which I have added an external drive to.
I have changed my preferences so that I can use this external drive to store all my music.
However if I open Itunes, when the drive is either not ready or not connected, it reverts back to the standard location for music on my mac.
When I notice this, I have to then change the preferences in Itunes to point back at this drive and Itunes has to re-sync which takes time and is rather irritating.
Is there anyway to stop Itunes from doing this? Or is there some code I can create to stop this happening? or maybe not allowing Itunes to open unless this drive is accessible?
Or maybe some warm up scrips that can be run every x amount of time to fix this and keep the drive in a constant state of readyness.
