Use USB Port for Internet Connection on iPod
Sometimes I'm out with my laptop and I'm wired into a network with no wifi and need to synchronize something with my iPod Touch. Is there any way that I can use the USB Port to share the Internet connection of my laptop?

As an added comment, You might be able to do the same sharing through windows, although in a more complicated way.
I'm not an expert in this matter, so you'll better off if you ask a new question asking how to share your wired connection through wifi in microsoft windows. Experts on that subject might help you.

Unfortunately there's no way to do that, but if your laptop is a Mac, you can use the internet sharing built into mac os x to share the wired internet through wifi, and connect your iPod Touch to the wifi network!
To find internet sharing, go to System Preferences->Sharing. The settings should be self explanatory.
