I have a Apple Mac Pro (2 Years Old) that is refusing to display anything on a monitor, it boots into OSX fine, i can here programs start up, also can play music if i insert a CD etc so is booting fine.
I have tried different monitors although lower res ones, but still say no signal even during boot at the start where the splash screen would be. I have tried different graphics card I know work, in various PCI-E slots on the board and still i have nothing.
I have removed the battery on the motherboard to try and reset the bios (dont know if this works on Macs) and still no closer to solving this issue.
Is there any steps i could try that i havent tried yet?
Is this a common issue that has been looked at before ?
Any help would be great at the moment, also i heard that it used to occasionally show no display but a reboot would solve the issue.

Try these two things. First off, reset the PRAM:
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
If this doesn't work, try turning off the Mac and unplugging all power from it for 5 minutes. Then plug it back in again and restart.
