Hey there! I am having a major troubles with my new iPod Classic 80gb.

I tried to sync music automatically as usual but when I was trying to sync my itunes library an error -69 box came up. I've looked around the internet and have found that the reason this error is supposedly popping up is because one of my files are corrupted, but this is impossible as my music plays fine in various media players on my computer and have played fine on my ipod up to now. The songs that the syncing stops on are completely random so I don't think it has anything to do with them being on different hard drives either.

I then tried to manually put my music onto my ipod which worked for about 30 songs but my itunes then refuses to put any more on and either freezes up the syncing process so I have to close itunes or I get the errors, "The ipod <ipod name> cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found." and "the wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume into drive <D:, G:, etc.."

Also, when I eject my ipod from my computer (windows xp) it restarts itself and deletes all the music I have just put on it.

I have taken the following steps and I still have not had any luck;
1. Re-installed Itunes with the new "7.6.2.8 version"
2. Re-installing my ipod software
2. Reformatted the iPod
3. Tried installing an older version of Itunes
4. Deleting the songs out of the library that Itunes stops syncing at (these are always different)
5. Changing the USB letter that the ipod is read from (eg it is usually read from the "G:" drive so I changed it to "H:" and "I:" drives)
6. Putting the ipod cable into different USB ports.
7. Removing third party freeware to change my xp theme.

I have the done above countless amount of times and I am just completely out of ideas.
I've noticed something though, that my ipod says "connected" when the synchronizing symbol is above it and also after I reset my ipod it has 72MB's of other before I've put anything on it. Is that normal?

My ipod has also stopped deleting music when I eject it from my pc. Instead it changes all my audio files to other files so my ipod can't read them and thinks that there is no music on itself.

Also, the error -69 isn't appearing so much anymore. Instead, my sync just randomly freezes and stops without any dialogue boxes or comes up with the same old "The ipod <ipod name> cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found." and "the wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume into drive <D:, G:, etc.." errors
Everytime I sync, manually and automatically, I get a pop up balloon that says:

"Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Windows was unable to save all the data for the file X:\iTunes\Music\[artist]\[album]\[song].mp3. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere."

What's going on?!
