I have a client whose laptop (running Windows Vista) had crashed. I had to clone the hard drive, do a wipe & reinstall of the OS & apps and then restore the data.
Although I was able to restore all his songs back to iTunes, all his Playlists are missing. They are still on his iPod, but NOT on iTunes. I'm afraid if he attaches his iPod and does a Sync, all his Playlists on his iPod will be wiped out, which would upset him greatly.
So I need to restore the Playlists back to iTunes. I still have a copy of all the cloned files on an external drive, so I could try copying them from there (although I have no idea what files to look for). Or perhaps there is some way to copy the playlists from the iPod back to iTunes??
