Browse All TopicsI just purchased and Ipod classic. I tried to put DVD's on it which i found to be very difficult. The freeware i used didnt work dvdtoitunes.com or somthing like that. Wishing to not have to pay for any since i own a large collection im trying to just download some via Torrent. Any ideas what format i need? Somthing that will play on my ipod. -OR- is there any software that works and works well and will name the chapters and put them in order etc.

Which operating system are you using...there's some great software out there for Mac called Handbrake that comes with presets for the iPod. Also, if you want to crunch down your movies smaller than what Handbrake does you can take the ripped movies and find some no longer developed software called iSquint that makes them perfect and tiny. Full length movies around 150mb or so.
