Invalid Drive: J:/ Error Message During iTunes Update

My new iPod won't work without the latest iTunes update.  During the Install Wizard, the iTunes update installation halts with the error message "Invalid Drive: J:/"   I am running Windows XP.  Any help with a fix for this is appreciated.Start Free Trial
