I'm not sure if the iPad is ARM based - if it is, it may be theoretically possible to run Windows 8 on the iPad when that's released since there will be an ARM version of it... but even then, I wouldn't expect it to be easy or reliable. &nbsp;Basically, I'd call it ill-advised at best.

But agree with the above. &nbsp;You're not going to get a local image of Windows to run on the iPad platform at this time. &nbsp;Remote-control of another machine is the only option.

Is there a way to run a Windows 7 image on an iPad2? &nbsp;I looking for a solution similiar to how I run my Windows 7 image with VMware on my iMac. &nbsp;No interest in remoting in to a PC by remote desktop. &nbsp;I want the Win 7 image locally on the iPad. &nbsp;Any ideas welcome.<br />

Is there a way to run a Windows 7 image on an iPad2?  I looking for a solution similiar to how I run my Windows 7 image with VMware on my iMac.  No interest in remoting in to a PC by remote desktop.  I want the Win 7 image locally on the iPad.  Any ideas welcome.
