Cannot update Iphone through ITunes

I am receiving this error:

"The iPhone software update server could not be contacted.  Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later."

I have allowed these websites through my filter, but that didn't help.

www.apple.com.akadns.net
a227.da1.akamai.com
phobos.apple.com

I found a message board that recommended opening the above sites.  This is happening with every iPhone in the office using itunes on their workstations.  However, they are able to connect at home.  Is there another site that I need to allow, or possibly a specific port number?
