Iphone doesn't recieve push emails

The CEO of the company wants his iphone setup to receive email, contacts, and calendar items.  I setup the phone using active sync and it connects when you go into the mail application but it doesn't push emails out.  We have a few windows mobile device that work perfectly fine.
Under "fetch new data" the push feature is on and under advanced for mail, contacts and calendars, it is set to push.  Is there anything I am missing?

Just a quick couple of things.
Can you confirm that the telephone is set to use "push" technology? - under settings there is a sectino called "Fetch New Data". You can then also check under the settings for the actual Exchange / Mobile Me account.
Also if you cna confirm that you are using the latest firmware on the device and that you have tried deleting and readding the account...
Has the user account in question got all the mobile services enabled on the exchange features tab in Active Directory Users and Computers?

I couldn't delete the headers that I had in there but did find an article about putting in another header in with an all unassigned IP address, listening on port 80, and no host header value.  I don't know why it worked but it did.
