Iphone not deleted mail items after Outlook delete

Asked by calitech in iPhone, iTunes Software, Exchange Email Server

I have an iphone and it is setup for exchange. I noticed that when I delete an email from Outlook it doesn't sync with the iphone and the messages are still there in the iphone.
Is there a different setting I need for that?
