We are testing this for a few days. So far we unchecked the calander under my calanders in Outlook and rechecked it. So far, all have synced, I will post my findings early next week.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsIMy company has 11 iphones. Most of them sync the calendar ok but a couple started having issues with the calander syncing appointments. If they accept the event on the iphone, it shows up on both the iphone and the calander but if they create or accept an event in outlook, majority of the time (90%) it doesn't show up in the iphone. We are all using Exchange 2003 with a SSL with Outlook 2007. We have tried updating the software on the iphone (same result), Changes the settings from push to fetch (same result) and the syncing is enabled in the settings. The only time I can get the events to sync is going into the iphone and turning off the calendar for that account and then turning it back on. Then they are there. Any help would be appreciated. Other users have not reported any issues including myself (I also have an iphone).

Please create an appointment in Outlook Web Access (OWA). Does the appointment make it to the phone?
If it does, there is not a problem with the phone.
If it does not, then Activesync is not working properly.
If Activesync is not working properly, please refer to my FAQ and check your settings / permissions etc:

I f the appointment makes it to the phone when created in OWA - please advise if Outlook is used in cached Exchange mode. If it is - turn cached mode off. Does the problem go away? If not - please close Outlook and then delete the local .OST file and then open up Outlook to force the re-creation of the .OST file.
