Are you using active sync or pop mail?
Please elaborate - has this been working before, or is it a new setup?
When you add the account are you selecting Add Account Microsoft Exchange

Hi GlenHarvey

If you are not an IT person:

When you connect your Iphone to an Exchange mail server you have to inform or ask for an assistance from your System administrator or IT support since Server administrator have to set something in the server side. They have enable ActiveSync to push mail to your Iphone.

Now if your are a Server Administrator.
Go to the link from provided by alanhardisty

alanhardisty: So what happens if my account needs to be a member of the Domain Admins group?

Is this simply not possible?

It is recommended to have an Admin Account and a non-admin account.  If you need to Administer stuff, use the Admin account, if you need to do day-to-day work, use your regular account.
No I get that, but is it possible or just a "no go"?
No go for that.
Usually Enterprise network have domain admins and a separate Server admins.
If your not a member of server admin groups you cant achive this changes.
I believe it is possible but needs some tweaks to the registry for your account to stop the regular process tweaking your account back.

I'll see if I can find something - seem to recall another question I was working on that provided the info.  Could be interesting searching through my Questions Answered History though : (
Okay - here is an apparent workaround that I have not tried or tested so please use it at your own risk!

Thats a great article - Funny too!

I will check it out and may go this route if it is essential for me to setup a device this way with a user who must remain in the domain adminis group.

Thanks for your help!
