Hello,
I am a mac challenged network tech struggling with a Mac running 10.4 that has suddenly stopped printing to my network printers. The printers are installed using their ip. I have also tried sharing off our server. The Mac can see and identify the printer both ways. We are using the generic postscript driver. Office 2008 apps throw an error saying it could not print because of a network connection issue or not enough memory. When I print from Mac apps it looks like the print job is sent but nothing happens.

Sorry but still no go. I tried the correct driver for the printer, savin 8025e ps, and i am still experiencing the same problem. It looks to me like it is a ?print spool? issue . On a windows machine I would stop and restart the service is there an something close to that on a Mac?

It might be caused by the Generic Postscript Driver. I too had this problem and fixed it by installing the correct driver for the printer.
I would try this as a first step.
