Quark 4.11 and PDF filter 1.6 "file not found" error
Hello all:
I know a similar question has been posed before, but I'm hoping someone may have tried the proposed solution. I have several MacOS 9.2.2 workstations running Quark 4.11 with the PDF filter installed. Those clients connect to a Windows 2000 server, SP3 to access PDF files that must be pulled into their Quark documents for output. We repeatedly get the error "file not found (-43)" whenever we try to import PDF files into Quark pages. Right now, our only workaround is to open the PDF file and save a copy to a local hard drive before importing it. It is causing major headaches for my production staff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Rather than Opening and Save As, just drag the PDF to the local drive for a Copy.
Upgrade the server to SP4, it'll solve your problem.

At least someone else has experienced the same problem. For a while I thought I must be going crazy to be the only person with this problem! We have tried every other proposed solution, but nothing has worked to this point. At least now I don't feel like I'm missing some obvious solution! Thanks for your response.

You're welcome and good luck.
