I have an iMac running 10.5.3. It is wired directly to a linksys WRT300N Router via a LAN cable. I have an HP Multifunction printer/scanner HP Color LaserJet CM1015 plugged into the iMac using a USB Cable (Which prints and scans perfectly).
I want to print wirelessly from my Sony Vaio notebook running XP SP2 through the iMac i.e. using the iMac as the print server.
I have no problem accessing the internet wirelessly, or sharing files between the Mac and PC. I even have a Linksys network storage device attached to the router. All functioning normally between all computers.
I have installed Bonjour for windows and followed all the installation steps. The notebook can see the printer attached to the iMac when running the bonjour wizard, but when I then try to print - i get the message that there is no printer attached (even though it shows up in the installed printer list as a shared printer connected to the iMac).
I have then followed this thread
http://tech.ifelix.net/3012.htmlAlso No Joy (Install printer wizard stops responding when you select the driver to install).
I am pulling my hair out as before I threw my desktop out and replaced it with the iMac as my main computer, i was able to print wirelessly using all of the above equipment.
Any Ideas?
