How can I Optimze a Dual Boot Mac G4?

I recently acquired a dual-boot G4 running 9.2.2 and OS X 10.3.9 and would like to optimize the system as much as possible. Not really concerned with defragmenting as much as a general cleaning of temporary files and any "tweaks" to speed up performance.

I have looked at several of the products suggested here for other utilities (like back ups, repair, and recovery) but have not seen a suggestion for a strong product that might help with overall performance.
