Can I read Apple Mac emails from a PC if I recover files from a MAC ?  (currently not booting)

It is freezing on boot,see attached pic

The user is happy just to be able to read the emails or have them printed off somehow.
I dont have a mac so Im thinking if I can recover his email data store, can I print them from my laptop with XP somehow?
