Install osx leopard to harddrive using Pacifist

I have try everything and anything to try to upgrade my 10.3 to 10.5 but the install keeps failing at 25 mins left. "validation of essential folder failed".. Ive tried to change the hard drive, dvd drive , and even bought another leopard disc....but to no avail.  So i heard that i can install to a harddrive using Pacifict...my question is How?Start Free Trial
