I have a user who has a Mac with OSX version 10.5.1. I cannot complete a Citrix connection from her laptop to our Metaframe XP server. I am using the Citrix client for Mac OSX version 10.X (universal). I have set the connection setting to TCP\IP only, according to other posts I have seen on this error. The error that I consistently get is Error number: 51. I have been able to successfully connect from another users laptop (Mac OSX version 10.5.2) on the same LAN using this Citrix client. Further, the user in question was able to make Citrix connections to our server in the fall and winter using an earlier version of the Citrix client (I do not have information on which version that was). During the winter she independantly upgraded her OS to 10.5.1 (I'm pretty green with Macs, but I believe she was on Tiger, and when to Leopard). Last week she attempted a Citrix connection and that was when the problem was discovered. I uninstalled the existing Citrix client by moving it to the Trash, and installed the 10.X client mentioned above. However, no matter what changes I make to the connection settings, the connection fails. I am wondering if there are components from the previous version that were not uninstalled, and causing a problem? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
