Black screen border after OS upgrade

Asked by mellingham in Leopard (MAC OS 10.5), Apple Laptop

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Leopard on my Macbook Pro. I did a standard upgrade and have installed the latest updates as per Software Update.

Immediately after the upgrade I've noticed an approx. 2mm black border all the way around the screen. My resolution is set to max (1440x900). I've tried resetting this but nothing seems to work! Very frustrating and I can't seem to find anything online about it.

I've even started to doubt myself - thinking that perhaps I've missed it for the 18months I've owned the laptop and been running 10.4?! Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance.
