Adding a mac to a windows domain

Asked by TSCAT in Leopard (MAC OS 10.5), General Macintosh Programming, Apple Networking

I have a mac.   This is the first time i have ever really tried to configure a mac.   About the extent of my experience is refreshing an IP address or connecting one to our wireless network.

Now I am trying to join a mac to a windows 2003 domain.   I need to do this so that it can be managed by our antivirus server which will only manage domain machines.   I have NO idea how to do this.   In windows,  its in the system properties with the computer name.   Where is this feature (if it even exists) in mac OSX (version 10.5.2)?  Start Free Trial
