How do I stop Mac computers from dropping .DS_Store files all over my Windows network??

I have a Windows network with a Windows 2003 domain controller. I have a few Macbook laptops that access the network files. Everytime they even look in a folder, it puts a .DS_Store file in there. It's really messy and annoying. What is that file and how do I stop Mac from doing that?Start Free Trial
