Browse All TopicsOn a mac you can have an iDisk folder that syncs to the cloud. You can have iDisk create a local copy for offline usage. I want to backup the local copy. What is the exact path to the directory with the files in the local copy that could be used to restore the files if the cloud iDisk fails?

under Go to Folder (CMD-SHIFT-G), ~/Library/FileSync
There might be several folders there. However, when first created the folder is named after the MAC address of the network adapter used to connect to the internet. For example, if my Ethernet controller has a MAC address of 00:0E:33:12:0A:AB:23 the full path would be
~/Library/FileSync/000e331

Dunno, but you could find out by doing a Spotlight search for a known file name in the folder, I suspect.
