Adobe Creative Suite freezes on launch splash screen. Stuck on initializing. MAC OSX 10.5.4

Recently updated MAC OSX to 10.5.4. Mention this because it's the only thing that has changed recently.

Running a Mac Pro.
Have CS2 suite installed. Try to launch any of the applications (except Acrobat Pro) and splash screen comes up. However, it never moves beyond "Initializing....". Have to force quit after a  while.
As you can imagine, massively annoying!
Have re-installed entire suite but to no avail.
Is this a 10.5.4 problem?
This is crippling me at the moment, so anyone who can help, please do!Start Free Trial
