We are currently using a 10.3.9 Open Directory server with a lot of additional configurations which have been made using phpLDAPadmin. As the server this runs on is showing it's age, I need to look at migrating to newer hardware. Is there an easy migration path for Open Directory from 10.3.9 to 10.5? My primary concern is keeping all of the existing ldap configurations as our entire intranet and portions of our production website rely on this configuration to operate. Thanks in advance.

I am not going to claim mastery of this subject but it looks as if the history of all of the revisions is one of bug patch bug patch etc etc. http://www.macwindows.com/AD.html The latest seems to have the bugs winning in 10.5.1 vand 10.5.2 http://www.macwindows.com/leopard.html#102907i EE used to have an OS x server forum but this one is pretty advanced if you want to pursue further http://www.afp548.com/ If it were me, I would reconfigure 10.5 from scratch and run a parallel system until 10.5.5 or so. Or just wait until the bugs stop winning. Right now it seems as if migrating is not the only issue. Just getting it to work at all seems to still be highly dubious.
