i tried that. Still nothing. Is there anything I need to change on the windows server?

Browse All TopicsWe have a new installed Mac OS X 10.5.2 just updated with all the latest software updates. I havent done ANYTHING with it and I go into the terminal and cant ping anything on the network. I can ping google, or other outside address but cannot ping the internal domain controller by hostname. I can ping it by IP address. The IP address is 192.168.1.225. The Mac is set to DHCP and has an ipaddress of 192.168.1.14 and using 192.168.1.225 for DNS. Any help?

Try entering 192.168.1.225 into the Domain Name server box in the Network preference pane under the ethernet:TCP/IP
