How to import the OSX address book to the windows outlook express

Sir:

I have a huge address book which is sent by a freind who works with MAC operating system but i use the windows xp professional, how to import OSX address book to the outlook express and use the same the OSX address contacts in the outlook express.

Please help me on this

Assuming your friend has send the file in CSV format
You can import this in your Outlook Express by selecting the export option from file menu
Selecting the "Import from another program or file"
Select Comma Seprated valuse and Import

In case it is not in csv format then
Ask your friend to
 Download the run on his Mac AddressBook to CSV from http://homepage.mac.com/kenferry/software.html#AddressBookToCSV
Click the export to  CSV and save the file and send it to you.

Thanks for the reply , i have not received the CSV format
my friend has sent me the following directory named as  Addr Book 2008-09-07.abbu  and again under this following directories are availble:
1. Images
2. Metadata
3. .DS_Store
4. AddressBook.data
5. AddressBook-v22.abcddb
6. BackupDetails.plist
7. MailRecents-v4.abcdmr

I do not know how to access this , which application to use and read the contents , please help me on this

Sorry , in my previous reply only Images and Metadata were directories remaining  are of files .
following are of files
 .DS_Store ,  AddressBook.data,  AddressBook-v22.abcddb, BackupDetails.plist, MailRecents-v4.abcdmr.

Please help.

What you have is the Address book archive from the Mac, I don't think you can use this to import address back to your Outlook.
Ask your friend to use the method I have suggested,  Or if he can synchronize his address book with Google or Plaxo then you can use the same account to synchronize those contents back to your Outlook.
