The pdf always opens the first page instead of page 2 directly. Please help me to resolve this issue. It's a big bottleneck for me.
This is happening on Firefox 2 and Mac 10.3 and 10.4 with Adobe Reader 7.0.
The URL opens fine on Windows OS.

BAD NEWS .. if you use the URL method ... you must be using Adobe Acrobat browser plugin to make it work and even that is not reliable.
On OSX the default PDF viewing application is Apple Preview.
While you can force Firefox to use the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin .. it is not as functional as Adobe Reader on Windows.
To be honest you will not be able to "reliably" open any page other than the 1st page.
