Apple website's video is not playing on firefox of my macbook pro

I'm trying to watch this video in the firefox browser but it's not loading at all:

This same video is working fine in safari. How can I fix this problem?

What versions of the OS and FF are you running?  I just tried running the video on FF on my Mac running SL and it ran just fine.

Maybe you have Quicktime disabled in your FF; do you see Quicktime among your Add Ins ?

Go to Tools -> Add Ons.  You should see this:

If you don't see that, you need to get it -- or maybe it's disabled?

I have got Mac OS X 10.7
and Firefox 5.0.1
I have already got quicktime addon and it's not disabled.

Here is the screenshot from my firefox's addons page:

You typically don't have to do this on a Mac, but try removing FF and reinstalling.  I have a fresh install of 10.7 and I just downloaded the latest FF, which is the same one you are running.  I have not downloaded anything extra and no addons or extensions. I have tried the video in both Safari and FF and it runs fine in both.
I just now uninstalled FF by deleting it from the application folder as well as deleting its profile.

Then I downloaded a fresh copy of FF and installed it by copying FF into application folder.

But still the video is not playing :(

All my extensions are gone but when I check the plugin page all the plugins like quicktime etc.. .was as it is.

What should I do next for making it work?
What is on the screen in the spot where the video would be in FF?  Is there some weird generic icon or error message, or just a black screen?

Are you behind any kind of web filtering appliance or proxy that might be blocking the download of the video?

I know that I'm reaching here, and probably this isn't it. but try repairing the disk permissions in the Disk Utility; not repair disk - but disk permissions.
Disable the Speed Download plugin

>> I don't think so. Because, youtube video is playing fine in my firefox. Also safari can play that apple video without any problem.

Disabled the speed download plugin but didn't work. :(
@ jhiesla
Repaired the disk permission then restarted my macbook. But still the video is not playing :(
Try clearing your Firefox cache - you might have a bad copy of that video cached.

Preferenced -> Privacy and click the link "Clear your recent history"
Try going back to an older version. Sometimes newer versions of browsers break things that worked in the past.

As has been mentioned above. Make sure the Quick time plugin is there.

You might also run an OS X software update to see if there are any fixes that you might not have downloaded yet for the OS.

Or, this seemed to work for me:  Disable the QT 7.6.6 plugin, try to play video on Apple site (it tells you you need QT), Enable the QT 7.6.6 plugin.  Go back to Apple, now video plays.
Though, maybe that -- disabling and reenabling QT plugin -- was a red herring.  I think that (as the bugzilla thread points out) that the FF plugin doesn't play QT until the entire video is available. So when I went back to the Apple video page, the file had finished downloading and it played.

I've found that if I just wait long enough after clicking on a QT video on the Apple site it will start playing.  Sometimes, I will do Command-R to reload the page, and then it will play.

@et01267:

I cleared everything in the history including cookies, cache, browsing and download history everything. But it didn't work.

>> Tried this but it didn't work for me :( I also tried by downloading the quicktime from apple but while installing, it didn't install by saying that there is already a copy of quicktime in my computer.

I downloaded firefox 4.0.1 but it is still behaving the same as firefox 5.0.1. Quicktime still didn't work in this old version.

Your test page is working perfectly in my firefox but the apple's video is not playing.

May be you are right that it only plays after the full file is downloaded. Any other suggestion for making it work?
