Fast User Switch and OS X Menu Bar

Asked by ahoffmann in Tiger (Mac OS 10.4), Mac OS X

In System Preferences I've enabled Fast User Switch. That results in a new pulldown menu labeld with the current username in the OS X menu bar.

Now there is one user which misses this item in the menu bar.
I guess that there went something wrong in ~/Library/Preferences.

Does anyone how to fix this, or at least where to look for the corresponding setting? Start Free Trial
