As far as I can tell there is no way to access these items without switching to another application with a shorter menu bar. Sorry!

Menu Bar hidden items and hot key
if an application's menu bar is large (like in firefox) it overwrites the items on the right in the menu bar, how to access the now hidden menu items?
Is there a hot key for the menu bar, either the applications menu items and/or the global menu items?
