Hi Pheidius,
It worked perfectly. I uninstalled them and was able to reinstall the new one.
Thanks!!

Browse All TopicsI tried the new adobe photoshop, indesign, flash and dreamweaver trials. I tried to uninstall them by putting the application icons into the trash. I also went into the library/preferences and deleted those.
But they are still on my computer. By running the creative suite design installer, it shows me that they are still installed.
Any ideas?

I am pretty sure Adobe has its own uninstler like a windows app. the uninstaller is in Applications/Utilities/Ado be Installers. Note: you CANNOT uninstall by dragging CS3 Applications to the trash, you must use the uninstaller. be Installer They do have a cleanup script but it sounds like a dangerous puppy only to be used in last resort case.
Yup I was right. I would reinstall the app and then unistall again using their unistaller. Macintosh - the uninstaller is in Applications/Utilities/Ado
After uninstalling, proceed with installing the shipping version of Creative Suite 3. If you experience problems with the uninstall or the install, you may need to use the Adobe CS3Clean Script. The script will clean up the beta and pre-release installations and allow installation of the shipping versions of Creative Suite 3. Please follow all the instructions carefully in the readme file provided when you download the CS3Clean script.
WARNING: Before running the CS3Clean Script, it is critical that you back up your hard drive including all data, content, software programs, etc. Failure to do so, and failure to follow the instructions included with the script, could result in a loss of the contents of your hard drive.
So reinstall and then uninstal using the utility and cross fingers
