Browse All TopicsHave a client with a few Mac machines, his needs to go in for repair and what I want to do is migrate his user account to another computer (10.4.11) its not a problem using migration assistant, the only problem is that the other computer also has an account with his exact name on it, is there a way during the migration to force it to migrate the user account to a completely different named account?

I think your best option would be to rename one of the accounts before migration. It would be a better option and faster too.
