We have a network of iMacs and have our print jobs sent via iprint so print jobs are accounted for using pcounter.
Currently we are using a driver for a LJ5550 which worked fine previously, however the printer has now been changed to a 5550hdn. The driver still works - sending the jobs through and the accounting is correct with the exception of InDesin and Illustrator (both version CS3) that come through as a 2 page document when it is only a 1 page document, which means users are getting over charged for these jobs.
We have considered trying a driver specifically for the 5550hdn but so far have been unable to find a linux driver for this (unable to upload the mac osx driver as the os is not supported by iManager).
Any ideas on what we could try?
