if you locate the actual favorite.url files on the PC and transfer them to the Mac. You can drag the .url file into an open IE window and they will reveal the link they are supposed to go to. Using the Explorer Bar ® 's Favorites tab you can drag the text into this area to create favorites. This is a pain and time consumming but if your favorites are that important this is also a way to transfer them.

The default browser for OSX is IE though most users ditch it in favor of OmniWeb or iCab. If he is still using IE he can simply transfer the file to his computer by sending it as an email attachment. Then replace the bookmarks file with the one from his office. The location of IE's favorites file is $HOME/Library/Preferences/ Explorer/f avorites.h tml ...It should only be replaced when IE is NOT open.
