Hmmm... afraid of that.
I went to Barnes & Noble to look for Mac books (okay I'm a Mac-freak) and just for fun flipped through a Quickstart OS X book. It was really sad how limited the information was.
I've only been playing in OS X since 10.1 but I already knew everything they covered in the book. Basically it was the instruction book that used to come w/ each Mac. Where are the expert books?
On that note do you know of any good Applescript books? I will leave this thread open for a little, then as usual get disgusted w/ EE and give weed the points.

There are all sorts of haxies for window management and appearance for OS X but not much has appeared as far as contextual menus and shortcuts. It seems that the only utility thus far to actually add anything to my contextual menu is Stuffit and I have yet to figure out how it did it.
The current Energy Saver control panel doesnt support timed startup yet but we're hearing more and more that the next revision of OS X will contain those little "niceities" that we all relied on in OS 9. Things like popup folders, folder drilling, etc etc. Expect OS X to flesh out with features in the near future.
