The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Applescript for making a text file

Hello and good morning:
I am almost totally new to Applescript so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone can come up with the correct code to make my project happen. What I need to do is make an Applescript that will tell TextEdit to open,create a file and start making entries into the file.
What I need is a file that will go thru every number and letter combination possible in 8 positions and write them in sequence until it finishes. I want it to look something like this

aaaaaaaa
aaaaaaab
aaaaaaac
aaaaaaad

and go onto letters and numbers and evetually end up with

99999997
99999998
99999999

somewhere in the middle it would look something like the following and so on
ac5e3dfp

Am sure this would be a huge list so that's why I don't want to do it by hand and want to use Applescript or some other kind of scrip language to get it done but what I need form the experts is the code to just get it done.
