can i install MAC on IBM cpmapatibla PC computer ?

dear experts,
my friend Eyad asked me, if it is available to install MAC OS on IBM compatible computer .. i think that there is a special version for IBM computer .. whats ur opinion ?
need reply as soon as possible.

Nope, doesn't exist.

There are a couple emulators that 'work' but they're on the range of 100x slower than the PC being used (a 3Ghz P4 would would run like a 3Mhz mac!  

If you're looking for OLD-style MAC OS (like OS6), there are better emulators available, but these emulate a mac plus (circa 1989).

Emulation is currently the only way possible.  PearPC ( http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/about.html#features
) is one method.  PearPC will also run various flavors of Linux.

Over the years there have been rumors of skunkworks projects within Apple where their OS (of whatever flavor) was enabled to run natively on a PC.  But that OS has never seen the light of day.

This article just was posted today, and further verifies common thoughts about native Mac-on-Intel, namely (1) it has been done, and (2) Apple just ain't interested in it (robbing their hardware sales?)

Several months ago, this place http://www.cherryos.com/ had announced an emulator that was really fast.  Unfortunately nobody has been able to try it yet.  It's probably going to be released sometime in the next month or 2, but I'm pretty skeptical about it (as are many many other people).

cherryos was released, but is still controversial at best. It appears to be a repackaged pearpc. PearPC being the open source GPL emulator for mac on windows. From all the reports online as well as my own tests, this software does not work at all. PearPC does work but it takes a little bit of effort to get it going. but the end result is a mac emulator that is exrtremely slow. But they are definately something to keep an eye on as this project is still in its early stages of development.
