I use Mac OSX as do the others in my office. We are all networked and therefore share our itunes music libraries. I can listen to the music but cannot figure out how to copy songs to my hard-drive. Any solutions? thanks!

Thanks for the comment but perhaps I wasn't clear in my question. I would like to copy music from someone elses shared itunes library. I don't think I can access his hard drive directly to copy the files. But can I copy them from his itunes library to my itunes library? If I can listen to them locally, why can't I copy them to my harddrive? Thanks for any solutions you can send my way.
As long as the songs are not from the apple store you can have all your buddies turn on apple files sharing an mount their Music folders. Not through Itunes... but... same results. Hope this helps, let me know if you need to know how to do this. Also there is a shareware program called audio Hijack that lets you record from applications. So if you dont mind listening to a song in order to copy it, you can just hit record from itunes on audio hijack and have the program save in MP3 format. You iTunes files should be in User Home -> Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Music (and then organized by Artist -> Album). If you bought the songs from iTMS (iTunes Music Store), I don't think it is useful to copy them but if you imported them using your ripped MP3, then it is fine to just copy them.
