Browse All TopicsI'm looking for info on how to index a file server so the results show up in spotlight. The file server is a NTFS volume. I found some info on how to do it but I have some confusion as to what the volume name should be.
According to info I found, you pull up a terminal window and enter "
sudo mdutil -i /volumes/x (where x = volume name)
Is the volume name, the name I see on the desktop ("files" in this case)?
If so, i must be missing something as it does not seem to be indexing the volume.
