The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How do I migrate contacts from a Motorola Q to my OS X Address Book?

My boss has a Motorola Q phone and a Mac Book Pro.  They are both paired via bluetooth.  I can select a contact click menu> send via bluetooth to send the contact to the Apple.  The Apple then puts the vcf in the documents folder, then we can click and drag that into the appropriate contact list in Address Book.

The problem is he has literally over 1,000 contacts that he wants to migrate, and this 3 to 4 step process won't work.

Is there a way to grab all of the contacts and send them all over to the apple?

(We will try with a USB cable tomorrow.)

He does have Missing Sync on his MBP, but it won't sync properly.  (The guy at the apple store tried for an hour, and I tried for about 2 hours.)

Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Start Free Trial
