Epson Printer Utility doesn't connect to Epson Stylus Color 3000 in 10.4

Hello,

We have 3 Epson Stylus Color 3000 printers connected through Ethernet to an Apple PowerMac G5 with OSX 10.4. We need to be able to initiate Print Head Cleaning and Alignment cycles from the desktop on these printers because the type of ink being used requires these cycles be done often. Under 10.3 the Epson Printer Utility worked fine, but it under 10.4 we can click the buttons and nothing happens. Printing works fine. Epson support was not helpful.
