unable to establish VPN connection between Leopard and Windows 2003 Server

Hi

Here's my scenario:
-one MacBook Pro with Leopard installed.
-trying to vpn to the company where I have configured a Windows 2003 RRAS
-connecting through some networks(wired/wireless), I'm able to connect to any services beyond the W$ server but some in most cases I pass authentication successfully and nothing happens, I can't even ping my own IP - received from RRAS

I have configured a virtual machine on my laptop with a windows xp pro and when i vpn from it, there's no problem so the obvious conclusion is there's something wrong with the mac vpn implementation but I can't find the logic why this happens only from some networks. I have to highlight the fact that from the windows virtual machine, I'm ALWAYS able to successfully connect.
